Diamond Necklaces, Peace

My stepdaughter has been into everything "peace" for the past year. My pre-teen has adopted it as well after her older sister. She would love this necklace if she saw it. I'm not going to show it to her because this momma doesn't buy children Diamond necklaces but it is very pretty.

Is the "peace" sign still popular this year? I see it a lot in key chains and other items at Wal-Mart but I wonder what the fashionistas think about it for the coming school year.

Other peace symbols include: doves, olive branch, white poppy, the Peace flag (seven rainbow colors with the word PACE on it), the "V" sign, and a crane. The goddesses Eirene or Irene, Pax and Tranquillitas stood for tranquility, security, calmness, and peace in Greek and Roman mythology.
